Brooke Lane is the destination and location.  With its meandering brook, native trees overhanging an ever-changing pond and a vista of established grape vines in the Mangawhai Valley, nestled below the Brynderwn Hills, it's a destination worth visiting.  We are always adding to our destination so come and visit us to see the changes and enjoy.

Longfin Eels

Our local residents are the The New Zealand longfin eel, and they are a species of freshwater eel that is endemic to New Zealand. 
 They are the largest freshwater eel in New Zealand and the only endemic species.
They are amoung the 5 oldest living animals and our locals are as old as 60-100 years old and you can feed them right at the gate.

Mangawhai

Only 9 minutes from Mangawhai Heads and the beautiful Mangawhai harbour and beach.  The area has many wonderful locations to explore, including beaches, spectacular walks, through bush and hills, also stunning 18 hole links golf course.  
We have amazing local artists/markets and much much more, also some awesome vineyards.
